Penjwen Becomes Greener; Preparations Begin to Plant 30,000 Saplings
As part of national and environmental efforts to protect nature and beautify the region, and under the umbrella of the "Penjwen Learning City" program in coordination with government institutions and organizations, a large-scale autumn tree-planting campaign has been launched.
Strategic Meeting to Formulate a Roadmap
In a special, comprehensive meeting supervised by the Mayor of Penjwen District and attended by the Director of Garmak Subdistrict, relevant departments, the Saplings Group, Malakawa Organization, and representatives of the Sarchnar Nursery, a roadmap for implementing this massive project was established.
It is scheduled that 30,000 saplings will be brought to the district in several stages over the coming days to be planted in the following key public locations:
The center of Penjwen and the subdistricts of Nalpariz and Garmak.
Along main and public roads to enhance the aesthetic of the pathways.
Pastures and forests with the goal of expanding green spaces.
Distributing a portion of the saplings to citizens so that every resident can actively participate in greening the surroundings of their homes and neighborhoods.
