As part of the professional activities of the City of Penjwen for Learning program, a special course in mens clothing tailoring was held over one week (from October 4 to October 9, 2025) at the Public Library of Penjwen. The course was conducted by Instructor Kamal Bnawsoti, an experienced tailoring specialist, who trained participants in the art and techniques of professional tailoring. It commenced on Sunday at 9:00 AM in the hall of the "City of Penjwen for Learning" program, located on the second floor of the Public Library of Penjwen. The training continued for ten days, with daily sessions held from Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 10:30 AM. Significance and Objectives of the Course: Program organizers emphasized that this course represented a golden opportunity for all those wishing to learn the art of macrame and to produce elegant, eye-catching handmade creations. Today, at the Penjwen Public Library and within the hall of the Penjwen Learning City Program, a four-day Arduino training course commenced, delivered by instructor Alan Qaradakhi. Alan Qaradakhi, founder of the Asan Jiyan brand and recipient of the Young Innovator of the Year 2025 award in the field of science and technology, is training participants on how to design smart projects over four days that can simplify daily life. The course is scheduled daily from 2:00 to 5:00 PM for four days, covering core topics such as: fundamentals of electronic physics, sensor integration, Arduino programming, and mobile application development. The instructor, a physics graduate with four years of teaching experience, was also recognized in 2023 as Iraqs top young achiever in small business and technology. The course will run until August 28, 2025, and is suitable for all levels, with a customized curriculum to ensure continued learning after completion. Penjwen, 6-7-2 Within the framework of its educational and social programs, Penjwen City of Learning ended a special sewing course for women that was held for 15 days. In a worthy ceremony, more than 100 women participants were awarded certificates of participation, marking the successful conclusion of this special program. Penjwen - In a special ceremony, women participants in the course "Physical and Mental Skills" (stone and water) received international diploma certificates organized by the program "Penjwen City of Learning" This course was conducted in coordination with Penjwen City of Learning Program, Sociology and Psychology Center of Sulaimani University and Dutch International GADAKU Institute The two-day course, which was held on Monday and Tuesday in May, was presented by Berivan Jamal Hama Saeed and presented several important topics on women's physical and mental health. “The main goal of this course is to strengthen women's physical and mental abilities so that they can lead a healthy life free from stress,” Berivan said. Within the framework of its ongoing programs and activities, today Monday, May 19, 2025, Penjwen City of Learning program launched a new course for women entitled "Physical and Mental Skills" The course is presented by Berivan Jamal Hama Saeed and is dedicated to developing women's physical and mental abilities, in an effort to strengthen public health and improve their standard of living. The course is expected to cover a range of physical and mental health topics that will help participants learn new ways to maintain health and how to deal with stress. This activity is part of the ongoing activities of the Penjwen City of Learning program, which focuses on developing the skills of individuals in the community. As a result of this two-day course, the students will become coaches of children aged 8 to 16 years.
