After Penjwen Learning City Program in collaboration with Malaka Organization and Dr. Mohammadkhani, donated 10 fire extinguishers to Chro Organization for Environmental Protection in Ruansar, East Kurdistan, Chro Organization expressed its gratitude to the managers of Penjwen Learning City Program for this important support.

44 fire extinguishers were distributed to 44 villages in Penjwen town. Penjwen - As part of environmental protection efforts and defense against forest fires and wildfires in the region, a number of villages in Penjwen town were equipped with 44 fire extinguishers. This distribution was carried out within the framework of a joint environmental activity sponsored by the Penjwen Learning City Program and in partnership with the Angels Organization for Environmental Protection. Main Purpose: Fire Prevention The objectives of this initiative include: Protecting the environment from fire hazards Strengthening villagers' capabilities for rapid response Extinguishing any fire incidents by the villagers themselves Educational and Organizational Support This step is an important part of the environmental protection strategy supported by the Penjwen Learning City Program and the Angels Organization, aimed at creating a local defense system against fire hazards. Penjwen kindergarten organized an environmental activity for the beautiful children of the kindergarten on Environment Day at the invitation of Penjwen City of Learning Program and Malaka Organization for Environmental Protection. Today 5 Saturday 2025/4/3 Tree Group in Penjwen launched a spring campaign to remove the tree holes on the road Penjwen-Garmak-Homerasenan. In order to prepare them for the irrigation season that is scheduled to start in May. It is worth mentioning that 30 volunteers participated in this campaign and lunch was prepared for them by a volunteer. May the country be prosperous and environmentalists healthy.

A large alley for birds, especially wild ducks, has been built on an office building in Penjwen at a cost of (2.172.000) dinars. This partnership is an important and effective step towards the conservation and care of the area’s natural birds. Penjwen City of Learning Program and Malaka Organization worked together to design and build this alley. The alley has been specially and professionally designed to provide an ideal habitat and breeding environment for wild ducks. This helps to conserve these endangered bird species. Project officials point out that this step is part of efforts to protect natural and environmental diversity in Penjwen, which shows cooperation and attention to environmental protection

Within the framework of the activities of Penjwen City of Learning program, due to the importance and development of agriculture sector in Penjwen township, on 14-1-2025 an important seminar entitled "Sustainable Agriculture: A Responsibility for Future Generations" was presented by Dr. Mohammadkhani. The seminar highlighted the importance of conserving natural resources and developing modern agricultural practices that are environmentally friendly, then emphasized that sustainable agriculture is not only an economic issue, but also a great responsibility to protect the environment and provide food security for future generations. This seminar is part of the efforts of the Penjwen Program to spread awareness and information about the most important contemporary issues. The presence of farmers and agricultural experts, and many other local personalities provided a good opportunity to exchange information and experiences. This meeting became a bridge between academic knowledge and practical experience of local farmers, which can have a positive impact on the development of the agricultural sector in the region.

Today is 17/11/2 Tree Group in Penjwen with the assistance of Penjwen Municipality, opened a two-hour course on tree felling, in the presence of Mr. (Hemn Ibrahim) Governor of Penjwen and members of the tree group.

Date 8/11/2 Meeting of Namam Group was held in Penjwen Public Library in the presence of many volunteer members of Namam Group. In the meeting, the annual report of the group was read and the work of the loyal volunteer members was appreciated and the tree planting campaign and monitoring of trees were discussed in detail and the plan for next year was presented.

On 1-7-2024, Penjwen City of Learning program in coordination with Halabja Environmental Office presented two seminars on the role and duty of women in environmental protection to a number of women in Penjwen township They play an important, influential and pivotal role in it, Finally, a certificate of appreciation was awarded to Halabja Environmental Office for organizing this environmental seminar within the framework of Penjwen Learning City Project

As a program of Penjwen City of Learning on Environment Day, we participated in environmental protection by donating several boxes of broken batteries to Halabja Cooperative Medical Society.
