Penjwen/Kwawa Village - This morning, Thursday, December 19, 2025, the largest seedling planting campaign in Penjwen took place, which was part of a joint activity by a group of organizations and environmental activists and the “Penjwen, City of Learning and Environmentalists” program in its seventh year.

The activity, which began at 9:30 AM in Kwawa Village with a visit to the home of the environmental and life martyrs (Peshton Abdullah and Alan Yousif), this campaign was carried out with the aim of protecting nature and reviving the Zagros tree. A large number of citizens and environmental activists participated in this campaign.

It was presented as an important step for protecting the environment and building a greener future by the organizers of this activity, emphasizing the importance of tree planting and protecting the nature of the homeland.
