The "Creative Writing" course, which commenced
17/9/2025 at the Public Library in the City of Penjwen, was successfully concluded today. This course was carried out seamlessly through the collaboration between the City of Penjwen for Learning Program and the Public Library of Penjwen. The program was delivered by the experienced writer Dara Nuri Aziz and continued for a duration of three weeks. At the conclusion, a certificate of appreciation was presented to the instructor, Mr. Dara Nuri Aziz, and participation certificates were awarded to all trainees.

Conclusion of the Daf Training Course in Penjwen City
Penjwen, 10 September 2025 As part of the artistic activities of the Penjwen Learning City program, a one-month special course on learning to play the daf was successfully concluded, providing an important opportunity for the citys residents. The course was conducted in two sections: Womens section from 9:00 10:30 a.m., under the supervision of Ms. Taban Osman. Mens section from 1:30 3:00 p.m., under the supervision of Mr. Hawkar Omar. The training was held twice a week (Sundays and Wednesdays). At the end of the course, Penjwen Learning City presented certificates of appreciation to the instructors, while all participants received certificates of attendance. The Penjwen Learning City program regards such activities as vital steps toward reviving classical traditional arts and passing them on to the new generation.

Launch of the Special Daf Training Course in Penjwen
Penjwen 17 August 2025 As part of the artistic activities of the Penjwen Learning City program, a special training course in playing the Daf was launched today, serving as a unique opportunity for the residents of our city. The course, which will run for one full month, has been specifically designed for those wishing to acquire this artistic skill. Course Structure: Womens Section: Time: 09:00 10:30 a.m. Instructor: Taban Osman Mens Section: Time: 1:30 3:00 p.m. Instructor: Hawkar Omar Course Schedule: The course will be held twice a week (on Sundays and Wednesdays) over the course of one month. Introduction to the book (A Woman Doesn't Want to Be a Woman)
Today on 26-10-2 Penjwen City of Learning program in collaboration with Penjwen Public Library organized a literary conference for Mr. (Dr. Bahman Tahir and Ali Penjweni). At the beginning of the conference, Mr. Zhuwan Penjweni delivered a welcome speech and then in the continuation of the conference, the book 'A Woman Does Not Want to Be a Woman' written by Mr. Ali Penjweni, which artistically talks about human search for his true identity. Dr. Bahman Tayer, with his critical ability and deep understanding of contemporary literature, offers a special reading of this literary writing by Ali Penjweni. A reading that highlights the hidden dimensions the author has brought to light in the story. In several sections, Mr. Ali Penjweni read some of his poems and then Dr. Bahman (who has a doctorate in Kurdish language and education) explained the different aspects of this work in an academic and scientific manner.”

Penjwen, August 11, Within the framework of developing the art of calligraphy and Kurdish calligraphy, Penjwen City of Learning program in collaboration with Penjwen Public Library, opened a course on calligraphy for Mr. Dara Nuri Aziz on 19-8-2 The main goal of this course is to preserve and develop the art of Kurdish calligraphy and calligraphy, which is an important part of Kurdistan's cultural and artistic heritage. Mr. Dara Nuri Aziz, one of the well-known calligraphers in the region, will supervise this course and teach the participants the techniques and methods of calligraphy.
